Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced National Account Manager, Market Access Employer Engagement, to lead engagement with jumbo employers and benefit partners in the US. You will shape account strategies, identify access barriers, and coordinate resources to enable patient access and sustainable benefit design.

You will build senior relationships across benefits, PBMs, and healthcare providers, translating clinical and economic evidence into compelling value narratives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or higher in a relevant field or extensive healthcare experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing strategic account management, market access or payer experience.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own a strategic regional portfolio of priority jumbo employer accounts and define account objectives and barriers.
• Build senior-level relationships with employer benefits, pharmacy, medical and procurement leaders.
• Lead discussions on obesity benefit design, access and affordability within Amgen strategy and engagement models.
• Translate evidence into customer-relevant value discussions and develop scalable employer-facing capabilities.
• Represent Amgen at employer, consultant and coalition meetings to expand external presence.
