Job summary

Serco Inc. in Naples, Italy, is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program and guide RMF accreditation for an IATO/ATO. The role emphasizes SSP development, control selection, and continuous monitoring coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a DoD TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, IAT Level II, and RMF/eMASS experience. Travel up to 10% and a valid passport are required, with opportunities to contribute across security domains.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• IAT Level II baseline certification.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, cyber security or related discipline.
• Or HS diploma with 10+ years cyber/IT experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity/IT knowledge and experience.
• RMF and eMASS knowledge/experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to pass and maintain health standards for travel (AFRICOM AOR).
• Valid US Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF categorization and SSP development.
• Assist in selecting security controls and CCIs.
• Develop and implement ISCM plan/strategy.
• Implement and assess security controls.
• Develop, review, and approve Security Assessment Plan.
• Operate and upgrade security scanning tools and perform scans.
• Assist in SAR and POA&M development.
• Maintain Security Authorization Package.
• Conduct periodic assessment of security controls.
• Lead remediation actions based on monitoring results.
