Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager, NA Logistics Accounting to lead the NA logistics accounting function and close process.

You will partner with finance, operations, and compliance to ensure accurate reporting of logistics expenses and to drive improvements across journal entries and month-end close. The role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, SAP Hyperion experience, lease knowledge, and a focus on controls and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance/accounting, with preference for logistics or operational manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lease accounting.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and project management skills.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, and analytics tools; interest in using AI for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of two NA-based employees with dotted-line India-based support.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of NA logistics expense (~$1.5B annually).
• Partner with IT Support, Logistics Finance and other partners to resolve issues.
• Identify and resolve accounting gaps from systems (OTM, US Bank, Hyperion, SAP).
• Develop SME on logistics accounting topics for audits and divestitures.
• Implement controls over warehouse management, PO maintenance, and lease tracking.
• Manage monthly logistics accounting close and accruals for reporting accuracy.
• Drive process improvements for month-end efficiency.
