Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a logistics/ops professional to drive KPI and financial results for warehouse operations. You will lead 3PL communications, manage cost-saving initiatives, and partner with site managers on productivity projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of general operations experience; strong Excel and Tableau skills are preferred. You will be accountable for budget input and cross-functional collaboration to deliver cost and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years general background in function area.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate actionable operations models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team player, detail-oriented, proactive with a drive to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Drive KPI and financial results for warehouse metrics to improve service and reduce costs.
• Lead day-to-day operational communication with 3PLs and provide daily updates to leadership.
• Lead buffer site weekly and monthly review calls with site managers.
• Drive capital project execution and partner with cross-functional operations teams.
• Co-develop productivity initiatives with site managers and co-facilitate site startups when necessary.
• Engage transportation on productivity, cost, and carrier performance.
• Create purchase orders, review invoices, and coordinate with finance/vendors to resolve issues.
• Support and input during the annual financial budget process.
