Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago (and Toronto) is seeking a Senior Accountant, Core Accounting to support month-end close, US GAAP controls, and NA projects. You will partner across Finance, IT, Tax, and GBS to improve processes and ensure accurate reporting.

Minimum 3+ years in corporate/public accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and SAP/Blackline experience are preferred; CPA is a plus. Base salary range $80,100–$100,100 plus eligible bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in corporate and/or public accounting.
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, and BI Dashboards is a plus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close including entering transactions, journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accruals.
• Prepare and review accruals and prepaids, coordinating with Finance and IT for accurate reporting.
• Support accounting activities for acquisitions and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Kraft Heinz policies.
• Lead process improvements through automation and develop procedures to address issues.
• Assist with audits and ongoing internal controls across North America.
