Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an Epic MyChart IT Specialty Analyst to support design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of patient-facing Epic solutions. You will partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to enhance digital patient engagement while ensuring platform stability and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold current Epic MyChart certification with hands-on Epic build experience and have 3+ years of Epic app experience.

Qualifications

• Current Epic MyChart certification with hands-on Epic build experience.
• Experience supporting Epic upgrades, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Knowledge of MyChart workflows: scheduling, eCheck-In, messaging, video visits, account management.
• Experience with Ambulatory, Prelude, and Cadence applications.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, testing, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of patient-facing Epic solutions.
• Partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to enhance digital patient engagement.
• Ensure platform stability and regulatory compliance.

Epic MyChart IT Specialty Analyst

Seeking an Epic MyChart IT Specialty Analyst to support the design, build, testing, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of patient-facing Epic solutions. This individual will partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to enhance digital patient engagement while ensuring platform stability and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Current Epic MyChart certification and hands-on Epic build experience.
• Experience supporting Epic upgrades, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Knowledge of MyChart workflows including patient scheduling, eCheck-In, patient messaging, video visits, account management, and patient communications.
• Experience working with Ambulatory, Prelude, and/or Cadence applications.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, stakeholder engagement, and documentation practices.
• 3+ years of relevant Epic application experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Care Companion, MyChart Bedside, Community Connect, Campaigns, or Welcome.
• Exposure to patient-facing AI solutions, chatbot integrations, or digital engagement platforms.
• Additional Epic certifications in Ambulatory, Prelude, or Cadence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
