Job summary

NYC School Construction Authority seeks a Manager of Operations (MWLBE) to oversee MWLBE utilization reviews for contracts and consultants, ensuring compliance with MWLBE regulations, SCA guidelines, and contractual requirements.

The role supports developing systems to identify risks, evaluate MWLBE programs, and coordinate day-to-day operations of Industry Outreach and MWLBE programs, including Mentor programs.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree required.
• Six years of full-time experience in project management, design, construction, operations, administration or related field; four years in supervisory/management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead people and/or processes to support division goals.
• Resolve day-to-day managerial and operational issues related to policy and practice.
• Create and generate reports for senior management and policy formulation.
• Develop and update policies/procedures for area of responsibility.
• Serve as liaison for multiple Departments, Divisions, and Units at the SCA.
• Plan, assign, monitor, and evaluate staff work; recruit, promote, and discipline as needed.
