Job summary

NYCSCA is seeking a Manager of Operations (MWLBE) to oversee MWLBE utilization reviews and ensure compliance with MWLBE regulations and SCA guidelines. The role supports oversight, assessment, and development of systems to identify risks and deficiencies in MWLBE programs.

The position coordinates day-to-day operations of the Industry Outreach and MWLBE Unit, develops procedures, and supports Mentor programs to advance MWLBE participation and contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree.
• Six years of full-time experience in project management, design, construction, operations, administration or a related field; four years must have been in a supervisory or management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of people, processes and/or projects to support division success.
• Resolve day-to-day operational and administrative problems pertaining to policy and practice.
• Create and generate reports for senior management to address operational issues.
• Develop and/update policies and procedures for their area of responsibility, integrating best in class insights.
• Serve as liaison for multiple Departments, Divisions, and Units at the SCA.
• Plan, assign, monitor, review and evaluate staff work and make recruitment/promotion recommendations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
