Job summary

Cloudflare’s Data Center Strategy team is hiring a site-selection manager responsible for MW-scale data center deals. You will find, underwrite, and close sites, with power and interconnection as primary constraints.

You will coordinate across legal, ops, capacity planning, and security to deliver multi-site programs, often traveling across time zones. You’ll build a cost-per-MW case, negotiate NNN and related structures, and present to leadership for capital approval; international deals are

Qualifications

• 10+ years selecting or leasing hyperscale or wholesale data centers, or planning MW-scale infrastructure.
• Closed NNN / triple-net leases as tenant or buy-side advisor, or the wholesale equivalents.
• Underwrite $/kW-month or $/MW, escalators, OpEx passthrough, tenant improvement / work letters, TCO, and lease NPV.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a pipeline of MW-scale sites with developers, landlords, wholesalers, power developers, utilities.
• Lead technical diligence on power availability, energization, topology, cooling, fiber, PUE, permitting, and commissioning.
• Run the deal process from LOI to signature (campuses, dedicated buildings, core expansions, BTS).
• Negotiate NNN and adjacent structures (gross, FRI, powered shell, JV), including rent, escalators, and expansions.
• Travel as needed (~30%) and coordinate with legal, operations, capacity planning, network strategy, and energy teams.
