Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Data Center Site Selection Manager to lead the real estate strategy for its data center portfolio. You will drive feasibility studies, negotiate with providers and authorities, and coordinate with internal teams on energy, design, legal, and finance to optimize location choices.

You will present recommendations to management, manage external vendors, and travel domestically 25–50% to support project development and expansion of Meta’s data center footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of site selection or data center/infrastructure development experience.
• Experience leading real estate negotiations and contract formation/negotiations.
• Proven ability to communicate complex commercial and contractual details to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop Meta’s owned data center location strategy within assigned geography.
• Lead feasibility discussions and negotiate with service providers, property owners, and utilities.
• Prepare location recommendations and present them to management for approval.
• Manage external vendors and travel 25–50% as required.
• Maintain relationships with communities and ongoing contractual commitments.
