Meta seeks an experienced Data Center Site Selection Manager to lead complex real estate negotiations for hyperscale data center projects in the Seattle area and surrounding regions.

The role requires strategic, analytical thinking, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate with legal, policy, energy, and finance teams to drive efficient site development and favorable terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 12+ years of site selection and data center or infrastructure development experience.
• Experience leading real estate negotiations and contract formation.
• Experience representing business interests to governments, utilities, and stakeholders.
• Experience managing large real estate development projects and coordinating with internal/ external teams.
• Experience communicating commercial, market, and contractual details to all levels.
• Experience with financial models and due diligence for data center projects.

Responsabilités

• Develop Meta’s owned data center location strategy and manage site selection for real estate deals.
• Lead negotiations with service providers, owners, and utilities; negotiate LOIs and incentives.
• Coordinate with internal teams on capacity planning, design, and finance.
• Prepare location recommendations and present to management for approval.
• Maintain relationships with communities and service providers to support data center development.
• Manage external vendors to facilitate site development; travel 25–50%.
