Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience; knowledge of pari-mutuel wagering.
• Must be able to resolve departmental problems and customer service issues.
• Must have good communication skills and tote intercommunication capabilities.
• Able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods in a smoky environment.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain appropriate licensing and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assume full managerial responsibilities and provide leadership coverage during Mutuel Manager’s days off.
• Manages Mutuel Department clerks and Money room to ensure procedures are followed to maintain high operating standards.
• Coordinates assignments for pari-mutuel clerks to optimize workflow.
• Oversee and contribute to Racing Department tasks and priorities.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
