Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a compassionate Music Therapist to deliver therapeutic music interventions aligned with each patient\'s plan of care. You will assess patients, document outcomes, and implement techniques to ease physical and emotional symptoms while collaborating with the care team.

HIPAA compliance and ongoing quality improvement are essential. The role is full-time with a standard 8:00am–5:00pm schedule and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music therapy from an accredited program.
• Board certification or eligibility with MT-BC criteria.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy per plan of care and assess patient needs.
• Document sessions promptly and evaluate effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support comfort.
• Educate the care team and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and contribute to quality improvement.
