Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment in New York is seeking a hybridsynccoordinator to support the Film & Television and Branding & CommercialSyncs departments. You will handle data input for masters usage, track contracts, and maintain financial documents while interfacing with artist management and clients.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, exceptional organization, and strong MS Office, Adobe, Canva, and Disco proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under demanding situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Seek approval and perform clearance duties for music-intensive TV shows, ads, festivals, documentaries, and live events.
• Manage financial reports and provide weekly progress updates.
• Enter deal terms into the GOLD licensing system and assist with ISRC codes for live performances and releases.
• Maintain accurate records and department files including splits, publishing info and exclusivity notices.
• Maintain audio/asset libraries with metadata, tags and lyrics.
• Follow up on licensing requests and track launch/airdates across media.
• Assist with music searches for creative briefs as needed.
