Primary Wave Music in Los Angeles is seeking a Creative Sync Coordinator / Audio Catalog Specialist to manage our growing audio catalog using DISCO and other platforms. The role reports to the President, Global Sync, and collaborates with the Sync team and other departments.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in music publishing or licensing, strong relationships, and a passion for music and pop culture, with excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in music publishing, sync licensing, or a similar music industry role.
• Established relationships with sync industry peers (e.g., sync licensing at major labels/publishers).
• Passionate about music across styles and eras.
• Fundamentals of music publishing and copyright; knowledge of the sync licensing process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of the department's audio catalog and metadata for ingestion into DISCO and other archives.
• Liaise with artists, reps, co-rights holders, and other departments for music/materials.
• Assist with design and execution of sync department e-blast campaigns.
• Curate playlists from catalogs to support pitching for film/tv/advertising and more.
• Maintain and update department client/contact info list.
• Help supervise department interns.
• Attend creative meetings and weekly all-staff meetings.
• Collaborate with a team of creatives and company leadership.
