Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support daily retail operations in our store. You will handle shipping/receiving, stock control, merchandising, and price signage to ensure an engaging customer experience.

The role requires basic MS Office skills, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings; you will work in a lively store environment and contribute to shrink control and cash handling as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Inventory control tasks
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items
• Cycle counting of inventory
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram
• Printing and placing signage and price signs (POP)
• Cash handling
• Shrink awareness and control
• Additional duties as assigned
