Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support shipping and receiving, inventory control, and merchandising in our retail stores.

You will handle cycle counts, signage, cash handling, and daily tasks while upholding customer service and asset protection in a fast-paced, music-driven environment. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work weekends and evenings, and have basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work weekends/holidays/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory.
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
