Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support in-store operations in California. You will handle shipping and receiving gear, maintain inventory, and merchandise to a customer-friendly planogram.

The role involves cycle counts, signage placement, cash handling, and shrink control. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required in a loud, fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory.
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
