Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Associate to help manage shipping, receiving, and stocking to ensure a great customer experience in our stores. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, merchandising, and brand-aligned presentation.

You will be responsible for cycle counting, sign placement, and maintaining asset protection while collaborating with store teams. The position requires comfort working in a loud retail setting and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Shrink awareness and control.
