Job summary

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is seeking an Assistant in the Music Department to provide essential administrative support to an Agent in our touring-focused team in Los Angeles. The role involves coordinating schedules, handling heavy phones, expense reporting, and travel arrangements in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS and at least one year of admin experience, plus a background in the music industry. Experience booking artists or working at an agency is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited University preferred.
• At least 1 year of professional administrative experience supporting an executive in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 1 year of professional experience working in the music industry.
• Experience with booking artists is a plus but not required.
• Experience working at an agency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer heavy phones and coordinate meetings and schedules.
• Prepare expense reports and book travel as needed.
• Produce correspondence and manage special projects.
• Organize touring clients’ activities (ticket counts, contracts, deposits, routing).
