Job summary

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is seeking a Member & Visitor Services Representative to greet and assist visitors across museum locations, handling admissions, memberships and information with a warm, professional demeanor.

The part-time 25-hour-per-week position requires strong customer service, cash handling and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Tessitura experience is preferred; on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Ability to interact with diverse audiences.
• Cash handling experience; flexibility with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle General Admission, exhibition and ticket sales, memberships, and renewals.
• Answer inquiries by phone, in person, and process orders.
• Promote memberships and assist with seat and exhibition bookings.
• Validate membership cards and tickets at entry points.
• Assist groups and manage capacities in lobby and galleries.
