Job summary

The City of St. George Museum of Art is seeking a friendly Front Desk Recreation Worker II to welcome visitors, assist with programs, and support daily museum operations.

This part-time position offers hands-on experience in a community arts setting and involves light office tasks, event support, and guest services. Ideal candidates are dependable, flexible, and eager to learn, with customer service experience and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, dependable, and flexible with a willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate basic museum software

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in person and over the phone; answer questions or refer to staff
• Assist Education team with tours, classes, and programming
• Assist in exhibit preparation, labeling, and space setup
• Aide in promotion and advertising of programs and events
• Register participants for programs and activities
• Handle money following city policies and procedures
• Perform general office and clerical duties and distribute materials
• Support day-to-day museum operations and events
• Follow all city policies and procedures
