Job summary

St. George Museum of Art is seeking a Front Desk Recreation Worker II for part-time hours. You will welcome visitors, assist with educational programs, and help prepare exhibits while supporting day-to-day museum operations.

Ideal candidates are friendly, dependable, flexible, and eager to learn. Experience in customer service is preferred; strong communication and problem-solving skills are valued in a community-focused arts setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, personable, and dependable; able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in person and over the phone; answer questions and refer customers to staff.
• Assist Education team with tours, classes, and programming as assigned.
• Assist in Exhibit preparation, including printing and hanging labels and space setup.
• Aid in promotion and advertising of programs and events.
• Register participants for programs, classes, and activities.
• Perform money-handling duties per city policies.
• Handle general office tasks and prepare brochures, schedules, and rosters.
