Job summary

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is seeking cafe staff to prepare and serve food and beverages while delivering outstanding guest service. You will perform cashiering, food prep, inventory, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year customer service, and POS experience. Shifts include days, nights, weekends and holidays; pay is $15/hour in a fast-paced museum setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year customer service experience.
• POS and cafe prep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cafe duties including cashiering, food prep and service, inventory, stocking, cleaning, etc.
• Be a strong contributor to a teamwork environment and consistently adhere to scheduled work shifts
• Represent the company in a professional manner according to company policy
• Follow all company procedures with no deviation
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests using the POS system and handling money
• Greet guests with a smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
