Job summary

GovPilot is seeking an Implementation Specialist to lead end-to-end deployments of our SaaS platform for municipal governments. You will guide configuration, data migration, and training, acting as both project lead and product expert to translate client needs into scalable system solutions.

You’ll work closely with clients to maximize platform value, ensure successful onboarding, and drive adoption across departments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of SaaS Implementation or Professional Services experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud environments, and data management principles required.
• Experience analyzing complex data structures and translating client data logic into clear requirements for technical team members required.
• Proficiency with tools such as Wrike, HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira, or other implementation-related platforms required.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships with professionalism and navigate organizational politics.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically complex or sensitive implementations across multiple departments within a municipality.
• Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients re-engineer business processes to maximize platform value.
• Architect custom system solutions beyond standard configurations.
• Consult on data strategy and data cleansing to ensure long-term platform health.
• Oversee QA standards for data imports and integrations, ensuring data integrity pre-go-live.
• Design and lead training sessions focused on change management and platform adoption.
• Monitor project health across a portfolio of complex implementations and manage scope and risks.
