Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support housing communities. The role involves extensive hands-on maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to keep units ready and safe for occupancy.

Levels 2 and 3 require EPA 608 certification within 180 days, with Level 3 focusing on leadership and advanced cross-trade expertise. Outdoor work, PPE, and documentation are standard responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• 1-3 years of general maintenance knowledge for Level 1.
• 4-6 years of advanced maintenance knowledge in one or more trades; EPA 608 Certification required within 180 days for Level 2.
• 7+ years across multiple trades; 608 Certification within 180 days; OSHA-10 within 1 year for Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for furnaces, AC, appliances, water heaters, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance items.
• Perform skilled work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or locksmith trades.
• Document all work per company policy and maintain equipment in ready condition.
• Follow PPE usage, maintenance programs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units with painting, flooring, drywall, and fixture work.
• Perform emergency maintenance and address safety concerns promptly.
