Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to support the upkeep and readiness of our rental housing communities in Charleston, SC. The role covers general maintenance, preventive tasks, and make-ready work.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other building maintenance, indoors and outdoors, following safety rules and documenting work. Level 3 may mentor others.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general maintenance knowledge and experience required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Will lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responds to maintenance requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, painting, and carpentry.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades and basic troubleshooting.
• Documents work performed in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains equipment and tools in ready condition.
• Follows PPE guidelines and safety practices.
• Assists in make-ready of vacated units as needed.
