Job summary

The candidate should have a Stationary Engineer’s license for Chicago, strong mechanical skills, and experience with building management systems.

Qualifications

• Valid Stationary Engineer’s license as issued by the City of Chicago.
• Good general working knowledge of trades and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life safety, boilers, refrigeration units, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and documentation of tasks in CMMS.
• Complete and input data for all work orders (corrective and PM) promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety policies.
