Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking an Extra Board Cook to support outlet kitchen chefs and staff across multiple stations, ensuring food preparation and quality meet outlet standards. You will translate recipes into dishes, maintain sanitation, and assist with inventory and briefing sessions.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience, a Culinary Arts degree or related training, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant or similar environment.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of food according to restaurant recipes and/or guests’ request(s).
• Assist multiple stations with food prep, cooking and plating (e.g. broiler, sauté, fryer, garde manger).
• Maintain the highest level of food presentation and quality.
• Ensure sanitation procedures and organization of work areas.
• Adhere to all health code regulations and standards.
• Maintain food and supply inventory and notify management of restocking requirements.
• Attend and participate in daily briefings or pre-shifts.
• Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
• Implement Resorts World core values and property/department standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
