Job summary

FOCUSPOINT is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for a client in the Nashville area. You will supervise end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has multi-state payroll experience, knowledge of ADP or Workday, CPP certification preferred, and strong collaboration with HR and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred.
• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Knowledge of ADP, Workday, or similar payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of wage laws and tax regulations.
• CPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
• Handle payroll reporting, tax filings, and audits
• Oversee payroll software systems and upgrades
• Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies
