Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in payroll administration.
• Experience building and maintaining moderately complex spreadsheets.
• Experience with UltiPro preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely payroll services for multiple states for both nonexempt and exempt employees.
• Analyze payroll data and balance inputs; process payroll and review reports for accuracy.
• Review workflows for new hires, changes, and terminations for multistate payroll.
• Compile payroll data: hours worked, time away, taxes, insurance, garnishments, and other withholdings.
• Verify employee data and changes like promotions, terminations, and bonuses.
• Assist in training managers on payroll systems.
• Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies; report to management.
• Participate in month-end closing audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
• Identify payroll service improvements while maintaining compliance.
• Provide customer-focused interaction and follow-up on requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
