Stellar Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director with daily operations at our Scottsdale community. You will perform upkeep, repairs and preventive maintenance to keep apartments and common areas in good condition, and help prepare units for new tenants.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, good communication, and basic problem-solving skills. This on-site position supports residents and team members to ensure safe, well-maintained facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general maintenance repair needs and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical demands.

Responsabilités

• Perform general maintenance daily, including replacing light bulbs and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Prepare resident apartments for new occupants by painting and cleaning carpets.
• Maintain grounds by mowing, sweeping and trimming trees and shrubs.
• Assist in coordination of community events.
• Support maintenance in all phases of resident apartments and common areas.
• Assist Maintenance Director with proper function of emergency systems.
• Travel and store resident property as needed.
• Read, write and speak English to fulfill job requirements.
