Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform focused technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacants, inventory control, and documentation while supporting cost-efficient operations on-site at Greystar-managed properties.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance tasks per standard policies, safety rules and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacants for leasing.
• Keeps inventory and orders materials as needed; reports re-order needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance checks.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing and conduct pre-move-out inspections.
• Track materials, tools, and equipment usage and return unused items.
• Document service requests clearly for tracking and follow-up.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting tasks.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
