Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior maintenance duties, respond to resident requests, and uphold safety standards. You will help prepare move-in ready units, handle repairs, and work under the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure high-quality communities and exceptional resident experiences.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Market Ready apartments with painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance as scheduled.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude.
• Report maintenance concerns on vacant units and equipment to the supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and safety.
• Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Attend in-service training and work with vendors as needed.
• Follow state, local, and federal fair housing and OSHA safety rules.
