Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or some college credits from a technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to apply common sense and work with multiple variables in standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area that meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
