Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our operations & maintenance team in Baltimore, MD. This role provides intermediate expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on building equipment in a commercial campus environment.

You will work with a self-directed team, perform non-licensed maintenance, support other trades, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of maintenance experience in HVAC/Industrial Mechanical/Machine Repair or equivalent.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs maintenance tasks following safety guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs facility and production equipment in compliance with company standards.
• Performs planned maintenance, inspects equipment, and analyzes failures to minimize downtime.
