Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic IV- HVAC to join our operations & maintenance team. This senior role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of facility mechanical systems in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities include planned maintenance on building equipment, troubleshooting pumps, air handlers, and HVAC components, and supporting installations and safety compliance. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

Six years of experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.
EPA 608 certification and US citizenship requirements stated in posting.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and related equipment.
Willingness to work overtime and safety-conscious behavior.

Responsibilities

Performs planned maintenance on building equipment and related services for a specific area.
Troubleshoots mechanical equipment such as pumps, air handlers, hydraulic systems, vacuum systems.
Performs preventative maintenance inspections.
Develops and implements planned maintenance procedures.
Performs basic pipefitting repairs.
Assists in installing, inspecting new equipment, and servicing installations.
Complies with safety regulations and CMMS procedures.
