Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician IV to join our operations & maintenance team. This role provides advanced expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on facility systems in a large industrial environment including clean rooms.

The candidate must diagnose and repair HVAC, compressors, chillers, robotics, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers and related equipment, and perform electrical/mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance experience in HVAC/Industrial mechanical or automotive repair.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, compressors, chillers, pumps, and related systems.
• Must be able to operate safely and wear PPE; following safety guidelines.
• May require ability to obtain security access badge.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs maintenance following safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs HVAC, conveyors, pumps, and related systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance in CMMS and schedules maintenance actions.
• Responds to work orders and provides feedback to customers.
