Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across our senior living communities in Ohio. The role requires flexibility for various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and outdoor work in different weather conditions.

Candidates should have apartment maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting, with strong teamwork and the ability to read manuals and produce routine reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; related experience preferred.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall and painting experience essential.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions; write routine reports and correspondences.
• Ability to apply instructions and solve problems in varied situations.
• You will bring a positive attitude and enjoy delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area that meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude with residents.
