Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) seeks a Multi-Site Hospital Manager to lead Parkway Veterinary Hospital and Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital in California's East Bay. You will oversee operations, drive financial performance, and develop two teams, partnering closely with veterinary leadership to maintain high-quality care.

You’ll manage staffing, budgeting, and daily workflows across both sites, traveling regularly between Dublin and Pleasanton to align strategies and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of management experience, preferably in veterinary medicine or service environments.
• Experience leading and developing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Strong operational and financial acumen with budgeting and P&L management.
• Ability to delegate, create accountability, and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel between Dublin and Pleasanton locations.
• Previous veterinary/multi-site management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across both hospitals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and budgeting for two sites.
• Monitor P&L and identify opportunities to improve revenue and costs.
