Job summary

National Veterinary Associates in the Bay Area seeks Medical Directors or Managing Veterinarians to lead one or more hospitals, shaping clinical strategy and daily operations.

This permanent role offers a generous base salary plus monthly production ranging from $180,000-$225,000, along with a Managing Bonus, health benefits, paid time off, relocation or sign-on options, and EAP access. Ideal candidates are AVMA‑accredited graduates with licensure, ECFVG or PAVE as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AVMA‑accredited college or have passed the ECFVG or PAVE certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership as Medical Director or Managing Veterinarian across Bay Area hospitals.
• Drive clinic strategy, patient care standards, and day-to-day operations with hospital teams.
• Oversee medical quality, client service, and inter-hospital collaboration.

Experience Requirement:

• Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program.
