Job summary

Belcara Health in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced RN to join its Plastic Surgery team, covering clinic, operating room, and PACU. The role involves pre-op education, perioperative care, and post-operative support in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active Maryland RN license, BLS, and (preferred) ACLS, with OR/PACU experience and a background in cosmetic procedures a plus. On-site, full-time position with a focus on patient safety and excellent care.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Maryland RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Previous operating room, perioperative, PACU, or surgical nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, ambulatory surgery center, or outpatient surgical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care in Plastic Surgery Clinic, OR, and PACU across the patient journey.
• Support pre-op education, post-op instructions, and clinical documentation.
• Assist surgeons with in-office procedures and perioperative care.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection-control standards.
• Communicate with patients, families, and team members about care plan and progress.
