Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across physician practices, including front and back office tasks. You will supervise staff, hire and train, and collaborate with leadership to manage the budget and performance metrics.

Travel to multiple practice locations is required, with a focus on ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 3–5 years' experience in physician practice setting with 2 years' practice management experience.
• CPPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops the practice budget with the director.
• Monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics and resource allocation.
• Reviews reconciliation of monies collected and deposited.
• Addresses patient satisfaction variances and complaints.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Travel to various practice locations as required.
