Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician 3 in Los Angeles, CA to perform mechanical and technical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet company standards. Responsibilities include handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units.

The role requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal). A valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours are needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and return unused items to the maintenance department.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and minor repairs.
