Job summary

Rainey Property Management is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across multiple properties in California. The role covers mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the community.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in apartment maintenance and hold EPA/Universal certifications. On-site work at our California properties with on-call responsibilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid EPA/Universal certifications are required.
• Experience using small hand tools, gas power tools, blowers, power washers and cleaning solvents; safety equipment expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure peak performance of all systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Complete projects/tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
• Make sound, timely decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with accuracy.
• Monitor property conditions and report hazards to ensure resident safety.
• Walk the property regularly to keep pathways, common areas, and grounds clean and safe.
• Maintain building exterior and grounds appearance; perform other assigned tasks.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available for after-hours on-call when scheduled.
• Show service-oriented mindset and professionalism in all interactions.
