Job summary

AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Multisite Maintenance Manager to oversee two or more Vivmark Residential communities. You will lead a hands-on maintenance team, coordinate service requests, supervise repairs, and ensure exceptional move-in readiness and resident satisfaction.

You will manage preventive maintenance, enforce safety standards, and report to the Property Manager while maintaining open communication with residents and on-site staff.

Qualifications

• Hands-on general maintenance experience required.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience required.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire if required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required if operating a vehicle.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment, and interior repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain two or more Vivmark Residential apartment communities, ensuring move-in readiness and resident satisfaction.
• Lead a team of service professionals; manage service requests and supervise maintenance operations.
• Prepare market-ready apartments and ensure safety compliance (OSHA and state/federal laws).
• Communicate with the Property Manager and residents; provide weekly/monthly status reports.
