Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and vendor activities across its multifamily communities. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality move-in readiness, timely service, and strong curb appeal while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: treat residents with respect and respond to maintenance requests with urgency.
• Enforce community policies delegated by the Community Manager.
• Assist and complete work orders and routine upkeep while diagnosing defects.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident and management requests and work orders.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and facilities daily to identify hazards.
• Maintain inventory and procure supplies within budget guidelines.
• Lead maintenance staff and provide direction on safety and quality standards.
• Maintain records of service requests, make‑ready status, and OSHA/compliance data.
