Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Multi-Site Maintenance Manager in Redmond, WA to lead by example, hire and mentor technicians, and ensure outstanding resident service through timely apartment maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and strong vendor management.

The candidate will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, manage turnover, and drive capital improvements while coordinating 24/7 emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• An education in the trades and 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and a track record of hiring, developing and retaining high performing teams.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Exposure to complex mechanical systems such as central plant, split systems, boilers and chillers.
• A safety mindset and an eye for detail.
• A builder's mentality (know it like you built it!).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and be a role model for Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Hire, develop and provide on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to techs and community care associates.
• Show care for residents through timely follow up and thorough apartment service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Manage make-ready and turnover processes to lease apartments and welcome new residents.
• Preserve building value with preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain building aesthetics and safety through upkeep, snow removal and grounds care.
• Sustain peak efficiency for all property systems.
• Adhere to building, county and safety codes, ensuring accident-free operation.
• Ensure annual building systems inspections are completed as required.
• Lead cost-effective capital improvements and special projects.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships within budget.
• Reinforce monthly staffing and provide 24/7 emergency coverage.
