Job summary

Bozzuto is hiring a Multi-Site Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead day-to-day property maintenance across sites. You will motivate teams, maintain apartment readiness, and oversee preventive programs to protect asset value.

The role emphasizes safety, timely follow-ups, and high-quality workmanship in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in trades/building maintenance, EPA/NAPE certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• Strong leadership aptitude and supervisory experience preferred.
• An HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Exposure to complex mechanical systems such as central plant, split systems, boilers and chillers desired.
• A safety mindset and an eye for detail.
• A builder’s mentality (know it like you built it!).
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and role modeling Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Following up with residents and closing apartment service tickets on time.
• Resolving HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Managing make-ready and turnover processes to lease apartments quickly.
• Preserving building value via preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintaining building beauty and safety through upkeep, snow removal and grounds care.
• Ensuring peak efficiency of all property systems.
• Adhering to building, county and safety codes while maintaining accident-free operations.
• Participating in weekend work and emergency on-call rotation.
