Job summary

Bozzuto in Seattle, WA is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee on-site facilities across properties and lead a team of technicians. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, while ensuring preventative maintenance programs are executed on schedule.

You will hire and develop staff, coordinate make-ready processes, enforce safety standards, manage vendor relationships and ensure 24/7 emergency coverage for residents. A strong hands-on maintenance background is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and a track record of hiring, developing and retaining high performing teams.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm.
• Lead by example and model Bozzuto's core values and culture.
• Hire, develop and provide on-the-job and classroom education to techs and associates.
• Address maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Manage make-ready and apartment turnover with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Preserve building value via preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety codes/standards and accident-free operation.
• Lead cost-effective capital improvements and special projects.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships within budget.
• Reinforce monthly staffing schedules and 24/7 emergency coverage.
